FT Transformers UK Ltd manufacture a range of both single and three phase reactors and chokes to customers individual specifications and requirements.

We have manufactured 3 phase units with system volts of 11KV to the other end of the spectrum of very low volts but operating currents of 10,000 Amps.

Our line reactors Line reactors help to stabilise the current waveform, and act as an impedance between the power source in the customers equipment. That impedance will both protect the input section of the VFD and reduce the harmonic current drawn from the power system by the drive.

Our Load bank reactors are normally incorporated in conjunction with resistive elements to apply a lagging power factor load test to critical energy power sources such as diesel generators at 100% load to ensure the whole load can be serviced when needed in real time critical situations.

Our air cored 3 phase chokes are designed and manufactured to limit the effect of a fault current in the feeding circuit should a fault current flow, thus protecting the customers own equipment.

All reactors are manufactured to the relevant international standard including EN60289, EN61558, we can also manufacture the above to UL & CSA standards for which we are certified.
